TCK Hub is a directory of resources for third culture kids, their families, and the people who work with them. It is operated by SMCI Media, LLC. These terms cover using the site and what you can and cannot rely on it for.

1. What the directory is

A list of organisations, services, guides, books, communities and events relevant to third culture kids. Some listings we add ourselves; others are submitted by the public or by the organisations themselves.

2. What the directory is not

We are not a provider of any listed service, and we are not a party to anything that happens between you and a listed organisation. A listing is not an endorsement, a recommendation, an approval or a sign of any affiliation with us.

We do not check whether a listed organisation is reputable, qualified, licensed, insured, safe, or suitable for you or your family. Several listings involve counselling, therapy, education and services for children. Do your own checks on credentials, safeguarding and suitability before you engage anyone.

3. What “Verified” on a listing means

TCK Hub verifies two things and only two things: that the link works, and that it leads to a genuine, TCK-related resource.

That is the whole of it. It is not a review, a recommendation, a quality check, a safety check or a background check. It says nothing about how an organisation behaves, how good it is, or whether it is right for you. Nobody pays us for the badge, and it does not change the order listings appear in.

4. Accuracy

Listings are compiled from public sources and from submissions. Details change without our knowledge and may be out of date or wrong. Prices, availability and services are set by the organisations themselves, not by us.

If a listing about your organisation is wrong, or you want it removed, email us and we will correct it or take it down. You do not have to give a reason.

5. Submitting a resource

If you submit a listing, a calendar event, a blog post or a file, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright or trademark. You give us permission to publish it here and to edit it for length and clarity. We review submissions before they go live, and we may decline or remove anything for any reason.

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email us with the details and we will remove it.

6. Your responsibility

You use listed resources entirely at your own risk. Before you engage with an organisation, verify credentials with the issuing body, ask for references, read their own terms, and take professional advice where it matters.

7. Limits of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TCK Hub and SMCI Media, LLC are not liable for any loss, damage, dispute, dissatisfaction or harm arising from your use of this directory or from your dealings with any organisation listed on it. The site is provided “as is” with no warranty of any kind. Nothing here is medical, psychological, legal, financial or immigration advice.

8. Acceptable use

Use the site for lawful purposes. Do not scrape it, overload it, or copy it wholesale for a competing listing service.

9. Paid listings and services

Some listings are paid placements in a services category, which is stated where it applies. Paying does not buy a Verified badge, a ranking, or any endorsement from us.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above changes with them. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stands.
