Rhoda Bangerter
I am a specialist in split family assignments and frequent business travel and their impact on family life. I help parents manage the stress and disconnect from living this life so that they can enjoy the growth and intention this lifestyle can bring.
International organisations (foreign service, military, humanitarian and private organisations) are increasingly aware of the specific requirements for staff and their families when on non-family duty stations. Through talks and workshops, I help organisations, such as the World Food Program, support their employees when they are regularly sent on international assignments from a month to a couple of years without their partners and children.
Having experienced both frequent work travel and a split family assignment from the point of view of the ‘holding the fort partner’, I have developed research based strategies to ensure that families can thrive and be “together even when geographically apart”.

Parenting adolescents can be extremely difficult, especially when everything you try doesn’t work. It’s easy to become the parent you never wanted to be - yelling, arguing, doling out harsh punishments, being overly restrictive, saying hurtful comments, and pulling away emotionally. If this is you, don’t worry things are about to change for the better.
Whether you’ve been trying to connect with your child, or help your teen succeed at school, or respond to challenging behavior Embrace Behavior Change parent coaching programs will help you find solutions that work for you and your teen.

Ulrika Ernvik
My name is Ulrika Ernvik, and I am an authorized social worker and licensed psychotherapist specializing in family psychotherapy. I am also a trained supervisor and teacher, offering supervision with a systemic theoretical approach, primarily to social workers, psychotherapists, deacons, teachers, and foster families, but also to other professions and organizations. I am the author of six books, and I lecture at universities, on theme days and evenings within social services, schools, associations, churches, and in other contexts where there is a desire to learn more about children, family life, parenting, conversations, trauma, interpersonal neurobiology, family therapy, ecopsychotherapy, psychotherapy on a Christian foundation, cultural competence, conflict management, and much more. I have created the trauma recovery model Trygghetsberättelser/SafetyStories, which is based on research in interpersonal neurobiology, including the polyvagal theory, as well as memory reconsolidation and the healing power of stories. I am also a certified nature guide, and I enjoy taking groups, families, and individuals into nature.
